A Brookfield Planter Family John Warner abt. 1615 - aft. May 17, 1692 John Warner, the "Father of Quaboag" Click on the name of John Warner's sons for their biographies
Note: *John Warner and John Ayres were brothers-in-law at at the time of their arrival at Quaboag. Their wives Priscilla and Suzanna Symonds were sisters. **Priscilla is listed as having been born on November 5, 1664. However, since her date of marriage to James Hovey is definitely known as November 2, 1670, the date of birth must be wrong. The Priscilla Warner listed born in 1664 at Ipswich must have been the daughter of the other John Warner of that town and of another lineage, who has so frequently confused the genealogical research of the Warner Family. After the murder of her husband by the Indians at Brookfield, Priscilla presented an inventory of his estate to the court on September 25, 1676.
